If you've been around me sometime in the last few months I might have shown you a picture of a chestnut tree I've been taking pictures of.  There's a horse chestnut tree on the front lawn of my apartment complex and a few branches of it reach right up to my patio balcony. Naturally, it became my perfect test subject for a new camera lens I just invested in (the Canon EOS 100mm f/2.8).

I started to become slightly obsessed with this tree as I started noticing all the tiny little details and the larger lifecycle that was playing out in front of my eyes (hence the squirrel pictures lol).  



I kid you not I probably have about 2,000 pictures of this damn tree taking up crucial storage space that I really need to go through. 

ps this story isn't finished yet, I'm still slightly obsessed with this tree.  More to come with this guy :)
